In a major initiative to support higher education, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has launched a scholarship program under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation (KPEF) for students enrolled in higher educational institutions. A ceremony marking the occasion was held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Peshawar, attended by Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi, Secretary for Higher Education Kamran Ahmad Afridi, Managing Director KPEF Zarif-ul-Maani, and other officials. According to the details, 204 students will be awarded scholarships based on merit and financial need under this initiative, which will cost PKR 20 million in the current fiscal year. The scholarships will allow students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to pursue free higher education in institutions across the country.
