About the Academy

KPEF Academy operates under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation, a corporate body established under an Act of the Provincial Assembly in 1992. The Foundation established the country's first institute dedicated to the training of college teachers.

Located in Kohat, KPEF Academy has been functioning since 2003. It has trained 4,021 participants, including 1,632 female teachers, through 144 courses and workshops.

Recognizing the importance of teacher training in improving teaching standards and learning outcomes, KPEF supports the Academy through finance, guidance, infrastructure, human resources and equipment.

Purpose-built training facility: The Academy has its own building in KDA Kohat, providing dedicated infrastructure for effective teacher training.
