The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation (KPEF) has launched the province’s first Career Counseling Portal for students. The Managing Director of KPEF, Mr. Zarif Ul Mani, and Vice Chancellor of Islamia College University Peshawar, Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad, inaugurated the Career Counseling Program by pressing the launch button. The first session of this initiative was organized as a Career Counseling Seminar for the students of Islamia College University, in collaboration with the FAIDA Foundation. Under this program, students across the province will be guided in career selection, skill development, digital technologies, and various opportunities. Students will be formally registered, alumni groups will be formed, and they will be provided with learning materials. Additionally, a team of experts from around the world will be established to offer guidance to students through chat rooms. The Managing Director of KPEF, Mr. Zarif Ul Mani, emphasized the importance of emerging technologies and encouraged students to make productive use of mobile phones and internet devices. The Vice Chancellor of Islamia College University, Professor Dr. Ali Muhammad, appreciated KPEF’s initiative and called the Career Counseling Portal a need of the time. Mr. Bilal Ahmad, a representative of the FAIDA Foundation and seminar facilitator, highlighted the importance of modern courses. He also provided detailed insights on setting educational goals and developing a step-by-step plan to achieve them. On this occasion, certificates were distributed to 500 students who participated in the program.
