Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation (KPEF) and PEF University Peshawar have jointly organized the “YOUM-E-TASHAKKUR” ceremony as part of the "Gratitude Day" to express solidarity with the people of Pakistan and the Armed Forces of Pakistan. The event was actively attended by Mr. Zarif ul Mani, the Managing Director KPEF along with officers, Mr. Hidayat Ullah Khawar the Director PEF University, students and faculty members. Prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of Operation “Bunyan-um- Marsoos”, for the speedy recovery of the injured, and for the safety and stability of Pakistan. Gratitude was expressed to Almighty Allah for the success of “Bunyan-um- Marsoos” and Pakistan's victory. A cake-cutting ceremony was held and sweets were distributed to mark the joyous occasion. Mr. Zarif ul Mani, Managing Director of KPEF, addressed the ceremony. He said that the brief Indo-Pak war during Operation “Bunyan-um- Marsoos” taught the Pakistani nation unity and inspired students with lessons of sacrifice, patriotism, and resilience. It emphasized the need to focus the students, their energies on advancement in research and technological fields. He appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation in the Gratitude Day event, describing it as a positive expression of love and devotion towards the nation and armed forces of Pakistan. The ceremony concluded with the national anthem and patriotic songs, as the participants passionately expressed their solidarity with the people of Pakistan and the Armed Forces.
